Director’s Book Club
MoLI members are invited to the third Director’s Book Club! We are delighted to announce that our special guest this time is writer Oein DeBhairduin who recently released his debut collection, Why the moon travels – twenty tales based on the oral tradition of the Irish Traveller community. The stories being discussed will be DeBharduin’s story ‘The Yew Tree’ and Katharine Tynan’s ‘The Sea’s Dead’, both published in The Art of the Glimpse. See the MoLI members’ bulletin for a sign-up link.
Today’s theme is Stuff and Nonsense: join writer Sarah Webb to create some funny and whacky stories, word games and poems!
In Deirdre Sullivan’s second NovelTeens masterclass, she guides us through building a sustainable writing practice, divulging hints and tips that we can use to kickstart a daily routine. She highlights the importance of reading other writers, as well as setting small, achievable goals and sharing your work with your peers.
