With a little inspiration from Sarah Crossan’s #wearethepoets postcards, Sarah Webb uses blackout poetry and highlights words to make a poem. Download the materials to create some poetry or prose of your very own!
Eiléan Ní Chuilleanáin: Collected Poems
MoLI, in partnership with Poetry Ireland and the Gallery Press, is proud to host the launch of Eiléan Ní Chuilleanáin’s Collected Poems. Broadcasting from the Museum of Literature Ireland, Ní Chuilleanáin will be in conversation with fellow poets Enda Wyley and Peter Sirr about her life and work. Ní Chuilleanáin will also read from this monumental publication, which features poems from more than fifty years, including new, previously unpublished poems.
In today’s edition, children’s author Sarah Webb explores the wonderful world of colour and encourages you to use your imagination and add details in your work to truly bring your characters and stories alive! So, what’s your favourite colour?
In Deirdre Sullivan’s second NovelTeens masterclass, she guides us through building a sustainable writing practice, divulging hints and tips that we can use to kickstart a daily routine. She highlights the importance of reading other writers, as well as setting small, achievable goals and sharing your work with your peers.
