Have you ever seen door and wondered what was behind it? This week’s theme is doorways + portals.
MoLI, in partnership with the UCD School of English, Drama and Film, is pleased to launch a new digital platform for Contemporary Irish Writing. The online platform – at ContemporaryIrishWriting.ie – features an exciting selection of 100 titles from the wealth of contemporary Irish literature. The website is a must-use resource for readers, book club members, teachers and enthusiasts!
To celebrate the launch of ContemporaryIrishWriting.ie, the project team – Professor Margaret Kelleher and Dr Jennifer Preston – speak to MoLI’s Director, Simon O’Connor, about the development of the resource. And to give a flavour of the rich body of work featured, the event will include readings by Emilie Pine, Anna Heussaff, Peadar Ó Guilín and Michelle Gallen – four Irish writers included in the project.
