Cloistear macallaí Hóiméir i mórshaothar Joyce. Dhein Séamas Ó hInnéirghe agus Séamas Ó Mongáin Ulysses Joyce a aistriú agus foilsíodh é i ndosaen mionphaimfléad. Roghnaigh Eoin P Ó Murchú blúirí astu a léifidh na haisteoirí Hilary Bowen-Walsh, Eoin Ó Dubhghaill agus Seán T. Ó Meallaigh. Chomh maith leis sin cloisfear amhráin á rá ag Noel O’Grady a shamhlaítear le haimsir an tSeoighigh agus teilgfidh Margaret Lonergan íomhánna ar scáileán de Bhleá Cliath i dtús an 20ú haois.
Joyce’s Ulysses carries multiple echoes of The Odyssey. Between 1987 and 1992 all of Ulysses was translated into Irish by Séamas Ó hInnéirghe and Séamas Ó Mongáin in twelve small pamphlets. This unique performance of selected extracts chosen by Eoin P Ó Murchú will feature actors Hilary Bowen-Walsh, Eoin Ó Dubhghaill and Sean T. Ó Meallaigh. It will also feature songs associated with Joyce’s time, performed by Noel O’Grady; and will feature on-screen projections of photos of early 20th century Dublin by Margaret Lonergan.
Presented by Imram in association with MoLI. Ticket includes admission to the museum.

In this Bright Sparks Creative Burst explore hidden stories by using everyday junk found around the house to inspire us to create some original pieces of work. With a little inspiration from Sarah Crossan’s #wearethepoets postcards, Sarah Webb uses blackout poetry and highlights words to make a poem. Download the materials to create some poetry or prose of your very own!
