Families
MoLI – Museum of Literature Ireland, is a museum for everybody. Our learning activities are designed to be suitable for anyone. We welcome families and community groups to take part in creative activities and experiments inspired by our exhibitions and gardens. Our family learning programme supports families to learn together in a fun and relaxed way. Everyone’s welcome and – here’s the best news – we won’t ever ask you to keep the noise down!
Join us for workshops and full day events, or visit at any time to explore our beautiful building and tranquil gardens. Our staff will always be on hand to welcome, assist and chat with you. We provide fun and inspiring activity sheets for kids (and adults!) that engage with our site and exhibitions free of charge upon entry at reception.
Our Learning Room is a calm, welcoming space for families and other learners to create, play, and reflect. When available, the room may also be used as a Relaxed Space for families and groups with children with autism and additional needs. The Learning Room can be accessed via a member of the Visitor Experience team. MoLI provides autism-friendly packs and headphones which are available at our reception desk or ask a member of staff. We have a buggy bay and breastfeeding is welcome anywhere in the museum. Email [email protected], give us a call on +353 1 7165 900, or see our Social Guide which includes photographs and information of what you can expect from a visit to MoLI.
