Literary treasures from UCD Library
Ink & Imagination is a new exhibition, in partnership with UCD Library, which displays rare letters and manuscripts from leading Irish authors. This list includes James Joyce, Edna O’Brien, Maeve Binchy and Frank McGuinness. The exhibition also features precious manuscripts and contemporary filmed readings from UCD’s vast Irish Poetry Reading Archive.
In this exhibition of items from Special Collections, more than 500 years of creativity is represented. You can see archives of beautiful rare books cherished for many decades past, modern poets reading their own work and much more.
UCD is one of MoLI’s founding partners, and was itself founded in these houses. As such, we are delighted to share some of UCD’s treasures as part of Ink & Imagination.
