Families
At MoLI we love working with people. We welcome families every day to take part in creative activities inspired by our love for language – from children's exhibitions, to creative workshops to our beautiful LitLab.
Schools
Our Shut Your Eyes and See schools workshops, delivered in partnership with Maples Group, explore Irish literature, past and present, hoping to inspire the next generation to unlock their creative potential in whatever form it takes.
Can't make it to the museum? Our MoLI in the Classroom workshops are delivered to schools online in partnership with AerCap, and reach thousands of schoolchildren across the island each year.
The Edna O’Brien Young Writers Award
This celebrated creative writing programme is a free five-day creative writing retreat hosted at MoLI during the summer – and resulting in a beautiful publication of new writing.
Throughout the programme, writers aged 15-17 are mentored by one of Ireland’s leading authors, and they meet with publishers, writers, literature academics and fellow writing enthusiasts.
Community Engagement
Strong relationships with local community groups and partners play a key role in enabling MoLI to engage with people from as many walks of live as possible, both online and onsite.
Ukranian Creative Hub
Facilitated by poet Hazel Hogan and interpreter Kate van Khauste, these free workshops consist of poetry, creative writing, arts and crafts and more.
Learning resources
We offer many extra resources for audiences of all ages. From scavenger hunt resource sheets and guided self tours to youtube videos and podcasts, there is much to see and do both in and out of the museum.
