As many visitors to MoLI will know, the Commons Café is one of Dublin’s favourite haunts, offering delicious lunches, cakes and great coffee to visitors seven days per week. The café was lovingly formed by Domini and Peaches Kemp to coincide with MoLI’s opening in 2019, and has welcomed many thousands of guests to its tables and courtyard garden ever since.
As of 2 December, the Commons Café will now be managed by Gather & Gather, a part of Compass Group. Famous for restaurants and cafés at Airfield Estate, the RDS and multiple locations in University College Dublin, Gather & Gather will be a welcome addition to the MoLI team. MoLI would like to thank the outgoing management for such a fruitful and creative collaboration over six years.
Speaking of the upcoming change, Domini and Peaches Kemp said: “We wish MoLI and the Gather & Gather team all the best, and want to thank all of our incredible customers and every single staff member who has worked with us in this beautiful building over the last six years.”
To facilitate this change, the Commons Café will be closed on Monday, 1 December.
